Fixter is a monitoring platform for software teams, operated by Luunai OÜ, registry code 17378814, a company registered in Estonia ("we," "us," or "our"). It stores the logs, traces, and metrics you send it, detects issues, delivers alerts, and runs AI-assisted investigations when something breaks. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, except for the telemetry our customers send us, where the customer is the controller and we process it on their behalf. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use our service, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. For any privacy questions you can reach us at info@fixter.dev.
When you visit our website we collect usage data through analytics tools, including pages viewed, approximate location (derived from your IP address), browser and device type, how you arrived at the site, and how you interact with pages. We use Google Analytics and PostHog (hosted in the EU) for this. We also use an advertising pixel from Reddit to measure whether our ad campaigns lead to signups. These tools may set cookies or similar technologies in your browser.
When a customer connects Fixter to their systems, they send us telemetry over OpenTelemetry: logs, traces, and metrics from their applications. Fixter stores this data and uses it to detect issues, deliver alerts, answer queries, and run investigations. Customers control what their systems send. Telemetry can incidentally contain personal data, for example a user ID or email address inside a log line; for that data the customer is the controller and Fixter processes it only to provide the service.
Source code: some features work with a customer's code repository, for example when an investigation uses repository context or when Fixter opens a fix pull request. Repository access only happens when the customer connects it and grants permission. When Fixter clones a repository, it does so into an isolated environment, uses it only for the specific investigation or fix at hand, and deletes the clone when that work is done.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We are established in the European Union and process personal data under the GDPR, relying on the following legal bases:
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to understand how it is used, and to measure advertising. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for them to perform their work. These include:
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property and those of others.
Some of our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@fixter.dev. If your personal data arrived in Fixter as part of a customer's telemetry, we may refer your request to that customer, since they control that data. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
Fixter is a tool for software teams and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
